The story

Tourists go to Edinburgh, see a castle, climb a hill, and pay too much for a bad haggis roll. You could do that. Or you could actually play the city instead of just looking at it.

The Edinburgh Quick Map turns the whole city into a game. Sixty one real locations, dropped as pins on an interactive map you open on your phone. Tap a pin, get a quest: a specific, slightly unhinged dare tied to that exact spot. Not “go look at this building.” Something you actually have to do, say, or commit to in public.

Every pin also comes loaded with the real story behind it: the fact your walking tour skipped, the detail that makes a random close worth the detour, the thing that turns “old building” into “wait, WHAT happened here.” Complete a quest, earn XP and coins, and watch your progress build as the city slowly turns into your own personal RPG.

What’s inside:

  • 61 hand researched locations, from the castle to the spots nobody puts in a guidebook
  • A specific, funky, fully on theme quest for every single one, no generic “go find this”
  • Verified, fact checked history and secrets behind each location
  • A rarity system, XP, coins, and a quest log so you can track what you’ve unlocked
  • Works straight from your phone, no app download, no data needed once it’s loaded
  • Yours forever. Open it before the trip, during it, or years later when you’re back

Built for the traveler who gets bored standing in a queue for a photo everyone else already has. If you’d rather collect a story than a fridge magnet, this is your map.
